1965

Christilot Hanson was an Olympic representative for Canada at the 1964 Tokyo games, and was invited to the Royal in 1964 and 1965. She was spotlighted as a featured rider and entertainment. She is seen on her Olympic mount, "Bonheur" who was purchased for Christilot as a 5 year-old Thoroughbred off the racetrack. The pairing was unusual since both horse and rider were green and new to the sport of dressage, and at the time Christilot was the youngest dressage rider at a mere 17 years old. She would have been just 18 when this moment was captured.
