Although no longer an event that occurs at the Royal, the Parade of Stars used to be held at the end of the Fair's duration. This Parade was a way to celebrate some of the top winners in many of the livestock and horse classes. As both attendance and the number of classes offered grew, it became impossible to house everyone for the duration of the Fair, so the Parade of Stars was discontinued.
