Having personally experienced horses going over rails, I was mesmerised by the explosiveness of what was before me. I would put my camera down and watch each horse and rider go over the jump until I felt the sensation, rhythm and movement - a complete oneness with my subject. Only then do I pick up my camera using it as a “paintbrush” moving my body, lens and varying speeds of the camera to capture the Power of One.
