Princess Alexandra visited the Royal in 1985 to celebrate the 125th anniversary of The Queen's Own Rifles of Canada. Along with inspecting the Queen's Own Rifles, she officially opened the fair. She can be seen here with Gerald Emmett Carter, the Archbishop of Toronto.
