The six-horse hitch has been a staple at the Royal for many decades. The Six-Horse Hitch Classic Series travels through various venues including the Royal, and has come to be the most prestigious draft horse competition in North America. Every year, the Coliseum fills with six-horse teams of heavy horses, turned out in their best. The sight of that much horsepower in one space is awe-inspiring.
