Smithston Ivanhoe (imp) was Grand Champion at the RAWF in 1947 & 48 He was owned by JH Black (Lachute QC) who imported him from Scotland as a calf. He was sold in 1949 to Cutris Candy Farms Cary IL. Photo is signed by Strohmeyer & Carpenter. Strohmeyer had occasional fits of fiery temper and is gifted with a pixylike sense of humor. I saw this first hand he got so mad he took of his hat and stomped on it on the wet ground out by the rail tracks
